Courses are offered entirely online using Blackboard, a dynamic platform that will enhance your learning experience and sense of community with fellow classmates. Some courses include a real-time connection through interactive video conferencing methods. Additionally, students may also take self-paced online courses to fulfill the endorsement requirements.
Courses are designed for teachers with a current Iowa teaching license who are interested in expanding their skills in:
- motor learning
- curriculum development
- effective teaching
- sport psychology
If you hold a teaching license outside the state of Iowa, please contact fabio.fontana@uni.edu so we can determine if this program meets the endorsement requirements of your state.
Individualized support services
Throughout every step of your program, you'll have a dedicated team of support staff ready to assist you. You'll also have access to UNI services such as:
- Personalized academic advising
- Support from Financial Aid, Career Services and Rod Library staff
- Academic support and tutoring opportunities from the UNI Learning Center
- Access to student accessibility services and staff
- Technical support assistance

Upon successful completion of the required courses, complete this application from the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners (IBOEE).
