Employee Engagement in Remote Work / July 8-12

Gain the essential skills and strategies to effectively navigate and resolve conflicts in professional settings. Through engaging discussions and case studies, you will learn to identify the root causes of conflicts, de-escalate tense situations, and foster constructive dialogue for resolution. The workshop will also cover techniques for active listening, assertive communication, and negotiation to facilitate mutually beneficial outcomes and maintain positive working relationships. By the end of the workshop, you’ll emerge with practical tools and confidence to address conflicts proactively and cultivate a harmonious and productive work environment. Earn one unit of graduate or undergraduate credit.

Onboarding New Employees for Success / July 15-19

Designed to equip professionals and managers with the knowledge and skills needed to create a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for new hires. Through interactive sessions, best practice sharing, and case studies, you’ll learn effective strategies to welcome, integrate, and support new employees during their crucial transition period. The workshop will cover topics such as orientation planning, goal setting, mentorship programs, and feedback mechanisms, ensuring that you can design and implement onboarding programs that foster early success and long-term retention. By the end of the workshop, you’ll be equipped to enhance organizational culture, accelerate new hire productivity, and cultivate a positive employee experience from day one. Online courses

All workshops are offered entirely online, asynchronously through Blackboard. There are optional instructor-led meetings via Zoom from 12-1 p.m., Monday through Friday for each workshop.

Tuition

  • $249/unit of undergraduate credit
  • $299/unit of graduate credit

Each workshop will have a $42 technology fee in addition to the tuition.
