This interactive workshop provides a foundation for best practices of teaching and learning in an online environment.
Recommended for faculty and administrators interested in the components of effective online teaching, including those new to the environment and individuals who wish to gain additional insights into research-based teaching strategies in an asynchronous environment.
QM Teaching Online Essentials - Tutorial
This tutorial consists of five units related to the QM Rubric and alignment, essentials for online teaching and student engagement, transparency in assignment design, creating community in online courses, and strategies for engaging students in large-enrollment courses.
This self-guided tutorial will benefit faculty teaching online or teaching a blended course with online interaction.
QM Using Instructional Materials & Technology to Promote Learner Engagement Workshop
This workshop focuses on continuous improvement in aligning learning objectives and assessments, as well as effective integration of instructional materials, activities, and technology to enhance student learning.
Designed for faculty members who have completed APPQMR/DYOC and have taught online, participants will identify a specific change they wish to implement in their course, implement the change, and document the effects.
