Learn how to help students become skilled and successful readers, while adding an Iowa endorsement to your teaching credentials. Begins each summer.
Complete in one year
Earn 15 credits through five courses. Cohorts begin each summer, however, fall and spring entry options are also available based on previously completed coursework.
Delivered online
Utilize Blackboard to earn your certificate/endorsement fully online. Some courses include a real-time connection through Zoom video conferencing.
$366 or $586 per credit
Undergraduate endorsement tuition is $366 per credit hour. Graduate certificate tuition is $586 per credit. All students pay a $46 technology fee per course. Scholarships available.

Students pursuing the Literacy Leadership graduate certificate/endorsement should submit an application and send official transcripts to the UNI Application for Admission.

Students pursuing only the undergraduate endorsement can submit an enrollment request form each semester. Graduate certificate students will also submit this form each term after being admitted to the program.
