Add your endorsement to your teaching license

If you've completed the majority of the required endorsement courses with us:

• UNI will recommend you to the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners (IBOEE) for the endorsement.
• To begin this process, complete the IBOEE application, selecting option 1.
• If you're not sure if you qualify for this option, contact online@uni.edu for assistance.

If you've completed fewer than half of the courses needed for the endorsement at UNI:

• Request a transcript evaluation and complete an IBOEE application (option 2) to add the endorsement to your teaching license.
