Iowa Teaching Endorsement #278
The Computer Science 5-12 program helps working educators build knowledge and learn a mix of content, interaction, and sustained inquiry to help you succeed as a Computer Science teacher. Courses are offered at undergraduate and graduate levels. Begin in Summer term.

Complete the certificate through five courses, earning 15 credit hours.
Delivered primarily online
Utilize Zoom and Blackboard to earn your certificate in a flexible, convenient way. Some courses include in-person opportunities at partner AEAs.
$366-$586 per credit
Undergraduate endorsement tuition is $366 per credit hour. Graduate certificate tuition is $586 per credit. All students pay a $46 technology fee per course.

- Delivered primarily online to offer flexibility and convenience for teaching professionals.
- Students complete all courses to earn the Iowa 5-12 Computer Science Endorsement #278.
- Opportunity to simultaneously complete requirements for the Iowa Career & Technical Education Information Technology Endorsement #279.
