Designed for those with a special education teaching license in Iowa Grades 5-12, this endorsement provides educators with the knowledge, strategies and tools needed to guide career development for individuals with disabilities. Begin any term.

Earn your endorsement through three courses, earning five graduate credits.

Delivered online

Courses are offered fully online, utilizing Zoom and Blackboard.

$586 per credit

All students pay the same tuition and fees: $586 per credit hour and a $46 technology fee per course.

Courses

Our flexible endorsement courses are offered online during the spring and summer semesters. This endorsement includes the following courses:

SPIE 5151 Educational and Post-School Transition Programming for Individuals with Disabilities (3 units of credit)
- Offered in the fall, spring, and summer terms
SPIE 5159 Career and Vocational Programming for Individuals with Disabilities (1)
- Offered in summer
SPIE 5159 Cooperative Occupational Education Programs for Students with Disabilities (1)
- Offered in summer
