SCI ED 4133/5133 FIRST Robotics Competition Team Management

The objective of this workshop is to prepare participants to successfully establish and manage a FIRST Robotics Competition team. The workshop shall provide the background resources and experiences regarding the best practices for organizing a team and designing and building an FRC robot. Team organization topics will include FIRST core values, student recruitment, and training, funding and resource development. Robot construction topics will include design techniques, material usage, electronics, and programming. Robot design sessions will include hands on work with FIRST Robotics Competition robots. Participants will demonstrate success in creating a FIRST Robotics Competition team by developing an organization plan, building a drivable robot, and completing team registration with FIRST.
