ENGLISH 3715/5715 Craft of Poetry

Development of creative and communication skills via written exercises in forms, patterns, and techniques of poetry. Readings in poetry, especially contemporary poetry, with particular attention to poetic structures and strategies. May be taken for 3 hours undergraduate credit and 3 hours of graduate credit. Prerequisite(s): ENGLISH 2700 or consent of instructor; junior standing.
