Historical development of geometry models that do not assume Euclid's fifth postulate. Emphasis on Poincare's disc and upper half-plane models, distance and area in the hyperbolic plane, and Mobius transformations. Prerequisite(s): MATH 2500; MATH 4500; MATH 3610 or MATH 3600.
