EDUC 2401 - 60 Teaching Internship l: Infants/Toddlers

This course provides a minimum of 35 hours of field experience in which students are actively involved in preparing and teaching lessons in PK-12 school settings under the close supervision of their professor and mentor teacher. In preparing, teaching, and reflecting on their lessons and other experiences, teacher candidates are expected to apply and document their understanding of teaching and learning processes. These processes include student engagement, lesson design and sequence, assessment, instructional decision-making and responsiveness to the cultural backgrounds and differing perspectives of learners. Offered on credit/no credit basis only. Prerequisite(s): Admission to Teacher Education Program. Corequisite(s): EDUC 2301.
