CRIM 2502 - 01 Report Writing in Criminal Justice

This course provides an overview of written and oral communication for criminal justice professionals, including its purposes, policies, procedures and processes. Emphasis is on written documents prepared by the professional, but some attention will be given to oral communication, especially on practical skills such as testifying in court, interviewing victims , witnesses and suspects, and dealing with the media and the public. Prerequisite(s): CRIM 2022.
